The funniest example I’ve seen of this, I was with a group of (all female) coworkers and one showed the rest of us a guy she had started talking with. The guy owed a martial arts studio and had the body to match, also had a handsome face and nice hair. She said he was funny and seemed like a great guy. “Okay so what’s the catch??” one girl asked. “Ugh… he’s 5’8.” One girl physically recoiled and another went “Nooooooo….” Height is - for many women - absolutely critical. To say that it’s not at least a significant factor in dating is just being disingenuous.
